Welome to the Website for Mark Garnier: Wyre Forest's Conservative Parliamentary Spokesman

Mark Garnier is Wyre Forest’s representative within the Conservative Party. That means Mark is making sure that the Conservative Party are fully aware of Wyre Forest's needs and that Wyre Forest's interests form a key consideration when policy is being created. Mark is making sure that Wyre Forest has a strong voice at the heart of the policy making process within the Conservative Party in Westminster; to make sure that Wyre Forest’s interests are served before policy is made, not just when Parliament votes.

Mark has been the Parliamentary Spokesman for the Wyre Forest Conservatives since February 2004 when he was selected to stand as the candidate for the 2005 general election. At that election, Mark and his team increased the Conservative support by a massive 45% and reduced the majority of the sitting MP by nearly 75%. Mark was reselected by the Wyre Forest Conservatives to stand again in Wyre Forest at the next election.

Since 2004, Mark has been addressing all the issues that matter to Wyre Forest. Mark has been single-handedly widening the political agenda to include more than just health issues and it is only Mark who is dealing with local unemployment, the local economy, local social issues, local crime and antisocial behaviour.

Mark is also involved with a range of local groups and organisations, most notably Kidderminster College, where Mark sits as a Govenor.
