Areley Kings - Speculative Planning

An application for 145 houses was submitted to both Wyre Forest District Council and Malvern Hills District Council by Severn Valley Sand & Granvel Co Ltd and  Gladman Developments Ltd.  The site, locally known as the Snipes was an unallocated Greenfield site which predominately falls outside of the settlement boundary of Stourport-on Severn.

Wyre Forest District Council rejected this planning application on in September 2022 and Malvern Hills District Council rejected this planning application in October 2022.

An application to the Planning Inspectorate was submitted and a decision of approval was made by the Planning Inspectorate on 9th May 2023.
