Mark Garnier is asking for residents to sign a Petition which he will present to the House of Commons.
The petition asks for the House of Commons to urge the Government to encourage Malvern Hills District Council to prioritise the protection of agricultural land in its Local Plan, to reject multi-dwelling planning applications within one mile of Areley Kings, Stourport-on-Severn, and to secure a full highway impact assessment for the historic Stourport Bridge crossing for any future developments.
Copies of this petition have been distributed into several outlets in Stourport, and if any retailers/businesses would like a copy please do contact the office on 01562 746 771. Additionally residents can download a pdf for their own friends and families to sign, and deliver their copy to 28A Bewdley Road North, Stourport on Severn, DY13 8PS by Friday 24th October.
Unfortunately due to strict Parliamentary rules on petitions only the approved version can be submitted, which can be found below for download and printing.
