Members of the Kidderminster Hospital Alliance, including Wyre Forest's MP Mark Garnier, have written a letter to the Chief Executive of the Worcestershire NHS Trust. The letter outlines the Alliance's position on the Trust's approach to the next stage of the Joint Services Review.
"As a result and up to now, the Alliance has collected over 11,000 signatures, which we believe represents a true cross section of the population of Wyre Forest. Our members have talked with many of the signatories and so we are well aware of the strength of feeling in Wyre Forest about the current Joint Services Review. The message that has come across strong and clear is indeed the need to maintain or even enhance the services at Kidderminster Hospital for the good of the whole county."
The letter was signed by Stephen Brown on behalf of Kidderminster Hospital Alliance, its supporters, and with the agreement of the following members:
Mark Garnier MP
Dr Richard Taylor
Councillor Barry McFarland
Councillor Howard Martin
Councillor Marcus Hart
John Stevens
Councillor Nigel Thomas
Councillor Graham Ballinger
John Stephenson
Neville Farmer
Michael Wrench
Councillor Helen Dyke
Councillor Fran Oborski
