Over 300 people turned up to the Wyre Forest Jobs Fair, today, in the hope of finding a job. After securing over 30 local business exhibitors, Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier, who organised the fair, welcomed the huge numbers:
"This is the first time I have organised this type of event and I could not have been more pleased at the interest shown by people in Wyre Forest. I have always felt that it is the responsibility of an MP to do as much as they can for their constituents and this jobs fair has been one small way that I can help.
"We have gained some useful experience and we will be seeking feedback from those who came. I hope to be able to organise jobs fairs like this one on a regular basis with each one delivering more for the community than the previous."
