With the election just two days away, a group from the National Convention – the senior team of the voluntary Conservative Party – descended on Wyre Forest to help get out those last messages to local voters.
The team has been working flat out for over four weeks, making sure that Wyre Forest makes an informed decision about who will be our next MP. The reception on the doorstep has been warm and local Conservatives remain optimistic about the outcome on Thursday.
And so do Ladbrokes, who still have Conservatives as the favourite to win this crucial battleground seat. And with Wyre Forest being one of the 117 seats needed for Conservatives to win a majority of just one in Parliament, the local team are still working flat out until 10.00 on Thursday night.
